Memory Making Mondays 22

Well what a weekend, Clunes Booktown 2015.  I missed out on being able to visit last year and almost missed out on registering in time to be a part of it this year. But we made it.

I didn’t get to see as much of it as I would have liked but I’m thankful to the other authors from the area I was in.  It’s wonderful when you can make instant friends with complete strangers and create a little community to help each other when needed across the weekend.

Meeting Christopher Milne, Susan Day, and Graeme Sparkes was definitely the highlight of my weekend.  There is always more to the story than what is between the covers of anyone’s books.  Being able to share some of those stories with a diverse mix of authors was a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to read books once I recover.

To those who came said hi I hope you enjoy your books, t shirts,  postcards, and to the winner of the snow globes congratulations.

And to my wonderful illustrator who wouldn’t let me transport myself out there on the Sunday due to the toll the Saturday had taken on me thank you for your assistance.
