I had a wonderful weekend getting to see some of the graduating arts students from Federations University spreading their wings with their first exhibition of 2015.

Putting what you learn in the classroom into practical application can be a daunting thing as was expressed in the opening speeches.  It had me remembering my time after finishing university.  The relaxed comfort of the classroom replaced by the frantic pace demanded by the real world.  The excitement, the adrenaline, the nervousness, it might have been a while ago now but it’s amazing how easily one can start remembering things when listening to someone else talk about such a similar situation.
