Happy New Year and Happy April Fools Day. Clearly saying Happy New Year in April says I should have posted before now for the first update of the year. Hopefully my lack up updating this blog and sending out emails hasn’t meant you’ve missed Endless Refrain’s Valentine’s Day album “Living For Love”.
It was their biggest album to date and was so much work with 14 songs on it. Some of the songs on the album are new ones like “Lord” written during the Christmas – New Year period, some like “Fairytales” are older ones originating from years ago. All written from the heart sharing love in it’s many different forms. Which songs connect with you?
The creation of the music video for “Living For Love” took weeks longer than I would have liked but I finally finished it and am looking forward to making many more. I really enjoy the process despite continually being restrained by my own budgetary and skill level deficiencies.
Endless Refrain also released a single “Picking Up” that wasn’t on the album. The music video for this was much easier to create, the hard part was finding the video files I wanted.
Stretching my creative abilities even further I worked on an alternate version and released my first single “Picking Up”.
Shooting the video for this one was a steep learning curve, but as with everything in life as long as we keep learning, we can keep growing.
One of the most fun projects I worked on this year was a multi week labour of love “The Song Not Called”. A 50th birthday present for a supportive friend.
The lyrics were revised multiple times. Continually walking the tightrope of what was public knowledge of the person I was writing it for, without disclosing any private information I knew about them. Whilst also making it sound personal, yet also relatable to anyone who doesn’t know her.
Creating the video didn’t take too long to put together but it did take some time to get to the point of putting it all together. She was moved by it and that’s really all that matters.
Now with all that finally caught up on I can let you know Endless Refrain’s Easter album “Keys Of Life” drops 04.04.25. Some of the songs on this album were recorded before the songs on “Living For Love”.

The first music video “Looking Like Jesus” released last week.
All the songs and music lyric videos premiere this Friday though that could be Thursday for you depending on where you are reading this from. The music video for “JTB” premieres on Good Friday. I’m still working on the music video for “The Woman At The Well” which will hopefully be out before the end of the month.
If you have collected any of Endless Refrain’s songs on Sound.xyz you can already listen to the new album in the presale.
There’s a few new songs written, waiting to be released I’m still working out when and who will be releasing them. Stay tuned for some more singles in the months ahead. Happy Easter.
