Tuesday Tunes 55

Seriously late with this one sorry, but getting it out before Tuesday Tunes 56, just. If you missed this fun post during the week on X and Gab, someone shared a site that you could change the record cover that Kamala was holding so I switched in some of Endless Refrain’s albums.

Which one do you think she would like best?

This past week saw the final two videos from Endless Refrain’s “Christmas in July” premiere. The track from the A side of this weeks single was “Go, Tell It on the Mountain V Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”. It’s a mashup of the two songs. Finding Christmas songs that worked well together was easier than I thought it was going to be.

The song that was on the B side this week was “Red Sweater”. On YouTube it quickly became the most viewed song on the album and shot into the top 10 of all of Endless Refrain’s songs.

If you’ve been following this series since it’s inception you may feel like it’s as familiar as your favourite sweater. I released a spoken word version of it during December 2023. It’s still the most popular video on my channel.

As I shared with someone on X during the week, though the story is a work of fiction, (heavily infused with real emotion), that Red Sweater does exist, and it is what inspired those lyrics.

In other Tuesday Tunes updates the first two songs from Endless Refrain’s new album “Gust” premiere tomorrow. “LBF” which is another one I’ve previously released as a spoken word video and “Will There Be Lemon Meringue Pie In Heaven” which is a brand new song I wrote recently.
The full album drops 14th August.

Before “Gust” is released “Endless Refrain – The Journey So Far” premiere’s as a finalist in the Focus On Ability Film Festival. Please watch it, Vote for it, and share it. You can do all that from 10am Wednesday at https://www.focusonability.com.au/

There’s also a Tuesday Tunes surprise waiting for you in my other short film “The Continuing Adventures Of Elise and Puppy”.

Every verified vote gets you in the draw for $250AUD and gets me one vote closer to winning enough to live for the rest of the year.
