Tuesday Tunes 57

Hopefully this has been the hardest week of my life. Its so hard trying to create, and promote so much work whilst being in so much pain. Thankfully some progress has been made in diagnosis which will hopefully lead to living pain free again soon.

Thank you everyone who has shared the short films that “Endless Refrain” have songs in as part of the Focus On Ability Short Film Festival. Your comments under the films on the focus on ability website, on my last blog post here, and on social media have meant a lot to me. There is literally only hours left till voting ends if you haven’t voted. If you want to share them one final time to maybe get me across the line please do.

Endless Refrain’s new album Gust drops at midnight, seconds after voting ends for the short films.
8 new rockin songs ready for you discover wherever you normally listen to music. I’ve also been in contact with some on air talent at various radio stations in the past week and Endless Refrain may soon have their radio debut. I included the titles on the CD for the first time with this album. I enjoyed designing the album artwork so much its the new background image on my computer.

Two new videos premiered today continuing the Tuesday Tunes video schedule that has almost been running for a year.

On this weeks A Side is “I Miss” which captures deep longing and the pain of missing _______. It compares the absence to the comfort of hot chocolate on a winter’s day, rain on dry earth, and puzzle pieces waiting to fit. The song expresses the aching void they left behind and how their memory lingers, making everyday moments feel incomplete and words inadequate to express the loss.

On this weeks B Side is “Family”. A heartfelt song about the enduring love and connection between a father and child. It reflects on the end of shared moments like bedtime stories and meals, but emphasizes that true kinship is defined by love, care, and everlasting bonds. No matter the distance or changes in life, the song assures that family ties remain strong in the heart, celebrating the timeless and unconditional nature of a father’s love.

Do you like the different colours of the leaves on the tree for each song? I had fun creating them, tweaking a photo I took years ago. Which one do you think is the original?

The album “Gust” is available from midnight. Existing collectors on sound can already listen to it.

Don’t forget you only have until midnight to vote for either of the short films.
