While waiting for the official announcements of how “Identity (Who Am I?)” and “Elise’s Blanket” did in the recent Sessions 03 and Sessions 04 my inbox has been kind enough to tell me multiple times of film festivals I wasn’t selected for. One of these was a film festival I made a film specifically for. You’ll get to see that film one day hopefully. In the mean time I’m planning on finding the funding I need to improve it before submitting it to future film festivals. If you want to help fund my future films I’d love to hear from you.
The exciting news I received recently was that “The Continuing Adventures Of Elise & Puppy” has been selected for Sessions 05 May 4 – 18, 2026. Then a day later I woke in so much pain I was already on the verge of tears and they spilled over when I checked my email and discovered that “Melanie’s Story” has been selected for Festival 2026 du film d’animation L’Art en chemin at the Jeanne d’Arc cinema in Senlis, France September 12, 2026. “Melanie’s Story” is an adaptation of “F.O.A.” created for the SaLSa International Dialog-Free Film Festival. The only dialog-free film festival in Germany, taking place from November 11 to 14, 2026, in the cultural city of Weimar.

Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s quote “If it’s a good movie, the sound could go off and the audience would still have a perfectly clear idea of what was going on.” “Melanie’s Story” is Neville Hiatt’s debut silent film. It’s an adaptation of his multi award winning stop motion animation short film “F.O.A.”. The disability advocacy song “F.O.A.” was rerecorded as an instrumental. The onscreen words of the song were removed from the film and the stop motion sequences reedited to bring Melanie’s journey to a new audience. With the blessing of the original mosaic mural artist for this new spinoff film the heart warming “Melanie’s Story” is ready for it’s world premiere. If you want to see it before then lets catch up in person.
I meant to share this news with you earlier but I got distracted with other projects including my latest film “He Was Only 16 in 1915”. If you haven’t seen it yet
I finally made some film posters for my films this week.

I also added some new designs to my merchandise store. If you want a tshirt printed personally printed by me rather than through my corporate fulfillment company spring let me know.
