Tuesday Tunes 006

After a week of sharing my two debut short films I’m spent. Running on empty would be being generous. Having surgery just beforehand may have been good for my health but not good timing considering the pain I’ve been in since. Waking in tear inducing pain is a hard way to start the day. Thank you again for everyone who voted, commented and shared my films. I didn’t know if I’d be able to share new song lyrics with you this week but I’ve managed to so here you go.

He Gave It All

(Verse 1)

Through every trial, every test,

You never left, I’ve been so blessed,

Your faithfulness, a guiding light,

In darkest days, you make things right.

(Chorus)

Oh, Savior, you gave it all for me,

Your boundless grace, it set me free,

With every breath, I’ll praise your name,

In your love, I’ll never be the same.

(Bridge)

In my wandering, you sought me out,

With arms wide open, you broke my doubt,

Your love relentless, like ocean waves,

I’m overwhelmed, humbled, and saved.

(Verse 2)

As I look back, your hand I see,

In every step, you’ve walked with me,

No greater love, no greater friend,

In you, my search and journey end.

(Chorus)

Oh, Savior, you gave it all for me,

Your boundless grace, it set me free,

With every breath, I’ll praise your name,

In your love, I’ll never be the same.

(Bridge)

In my heart, your words reside,

A love so pure, a constant guide,

Your sacrifice, my soul redeemed,

My life transformed, my spirit cleaned.

(Verse 3)

Now, I surrender all I am,

To follow you, my Lord, my God,

With every heartbeat, every thought,

I’ll live for you or my life is naught.

(Chorus)

Oh, Savior, you gave it all for me,

Your boundless grace, it set me free,

With every breath, I’ll praise your name,

In your love, I’ll never be the same.

(Outro)

Oh, Lord, your mercy covers me,

Your love, the key that sets me free,

Forever grateful, I will be,

For your sacrifice on Calvary’s tree.

Tears in my eyes

(Verse 1)
I miss them more than hot chocolate’s sweet embrace,
On winter days, in fireside glow, a warm space.
Like drought-breaking rain on a parched earth’s plea,
Their absence echoes like waves in an endless sea.

(Chorus)
More than puzzle pieces that long to align,
Beyond the stars’ twinkle, their absence I pine.
In the scorching summer, a cold shower’s grace,
I miss them more than words can trace.

(Verse 2)
I miss them more than shadows at eventide,
A campfire’s warmth, by which I used to confide.
Their memory’s echo, a melody in the breeze,
A heart’s silent yearning that never finds ease.

(Chorus)
More than puzzle pieces that long to align,
Beyond the stars’ twinkle, their absence I pine.
In the scorching summer, a cold shower’s grace,
I miss them more than words can trace.

(Bridge)
Each whispered echo, a secret they left behind,
A tapestry woven of moments entwined.
Through laughter and tears, they left their trace,
I miss them more than an empty space.

(Verse 3)
I miss them more than a page in a cherished book,
An unfinished story, a longing I can’t overlook.
In the quiet hours, their presence I seek,
A connection severed, a bond left weak.

(Chorus)
More than puzzle pieces that long to align,
Beyond the stars’ twinkle, their absence I pine.
In the scorching summer, a cold shower’s grace,
I miss them more than words can trace.

(Outro)
Like footprints in sand, their mark remains,
A silent yearning, love’s endless chains.
Though unspoken, this absence bears its weight,
I miss them more than words can translate.
