I realised while writing last weeks post that if I’d preplanned things better I could have ended 2023 with Tuesday Tunes 023 and started 2024 with Tuesday Tunes 024. Oh well that wasn’t to be. It’s a sense of achievement to have finished the year having not missed a week after starting the series in July. 24 weeks later that’s a wrap for the year. I’ve got two final videos for you this week, then you’ve got less than a week to view like, and comment on any the videos I’ve released this year before I tally up which ones have connected with you the most.
“Emocracy” is the track on side A of this weeks record. Emocracy is not a typo and isn’t a new word, though I understand it’s possibly new to you. It’s been around for a few years and when I heard it earlier this year I knew I had to write about it.

“Fly Again Little Dreamer” is the track on side B of this weeks record. The concept I originally had for this video had to change when I couldn’t find the photographs I wanted to use. Hopefully I find them next year otherwise I’ve lost an entire year of photographs. The substitute ended up being rather serendipitous as it’s video footage of a new years eve fire works. Fitting for the final short film of the year? Writing song lyrics for me hasn’t been a new thing this year but something that I haven’t done for decades and started doing again.
