It’s “The Final Round” and the final videos from “Octagon” in this weeks edition of Tuesday Tunes. “The Final Round” was meant to be the final song on the album but then “Just One” was shared with a fan and based on their response it has been included as a bonus song.
The video released this morning from “Octagon” was “Gateway To Hell”. It was inspired by listening to the replay of “Fearless Army Roll Call 2.0” and hearing John Cooper from Skillet say “don’t give your kids phones ever, it’s like a Gateway into hell”. “Just One” was maybe going to be on an album next year. It wasn’t planned for “Octagon” or “Still Standing” or the upcoming Christmas Album. However the response from someone who listened to it changed the history of this song forever. The final installment from the Rick and Jo Deep Dive series on “Octagon” also premiered today.
That’s a wrap for “Octagon”. Which song has been the most memorable for you? Next week the first two videos from “Still Standing” premiere. An album that if you watch one after the other you will see something more than what is in each song individually.
I’m relieved to also announce that I’ve finished writing all the songs for Endless Refrain’s Christmas album scheduled to drop in December. Now to create the videos, and then plan for 2025.
